VersaLogic Corporation Receives AS9100 Certification
Tualatin, Oregon – February 19, 2020
Our long-standing manufacturing partner VersaLogic is one of the embedded industry’s most trusted computer companies, and today they proudly announce their AS9100D certification.
With this certification, VersaLogic surpasses their existing ISO 9001 certification, and now joins an elite group of companies also registered to this aerospace standard.
“VersaLogic is proud to announce certification of our Quality Management System to AS9100D.” says Bruce McKinnon, Chief Operating Officer. “This achievement reflects our long-standing commitment to maintaining a world-class quality management system and producing best-in-class embedded computer products. Managing product and service quality per AS9100D assures that we will continue to meet or exceed our aerospace customers’ requirements.”
Enhancing Quality and Customer Satisfaction
The audit was conducted in accordance with the requirements of SAE AS9104/1:2012-01 by PRI RegistrarSM which is accredited by ANAB and IAF.
The standard certification aims to enhance customer satisfaction, something that VersaLogic has long held at the forefront of their business. It contains requirements related to quality, safety, risk management, and evidence-based decision making – all important factors that the aerospace and defense industries demand and uphold themselves.
What's New?
The latest addition to VersaLogic's embedded product line is the Grizzly - a rugged embedded server featuring an Intel 16-core processor, -40°C to +85°C operation, two 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ ports, and up to 128 GB of ECC memory.
It is ideal for high performance/high data bandwidth applications. Two Mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 site provide for expansion and on-board storage.
Grizzly is covered from the date of shipment by a five-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, and VersaLogic’s 10+ year product life support ensures long-term availability.

Absolute Quality! ISO 9001 at Sarsen Technology
A good quality process drives a company, and ideally, involves everyone in producing a quality service or product.
We've been working hard over the 12 months since our last audit to continue to develop and improve our quality processes, in order to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Following our very successful transition audit this week we are about to migrate to IS0 9001:2015 from our currently held IS0 9001:2008 accreditation.
ISO 9001 is a global standard that specifies the requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Companies like ours use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer requirements.
It oversees everything from process management to customer satisfaction to make sure the customer isn’t affected by any bad practices at their suppliers. Most of our customers simply can't work with suppliers who don’t hold a recognised quality certification, and so its very important that we maintain our ISO certified status.
One of our most fundamental quality goals is to boost customer satisfaction by planning for and exceeding our customer's expectations, in terms of both service and technology offerings. By maintaining our proven and positive customer satisfaction levels we retain our customers project after project, because the happiest customers are definitely the most loyal.
For more information on our quality policies please contact Sarsen Technology - info@sarsen.net

We Aim To Please! Sarsen Technology and Customer Satisfaction
A good quality process drives a company, and ideally, involves everyone in producing a quality service or product.
We are constantly working to improve our quality processes, in order to provide the best possible service to our customers. We currently hold IS0 9001:2008 accreditation, and we are about to migrate to IS0 9001:2015 following a successful transition audit.
ISO is a global standard that promotes and supports the international exchange of goods and services. In layman’s terms this means they oversee everything to make sure the customer isn’t affected by bad practices at their suppliers. Many of our customers are unable to work with suppliers who don’t hold a recognised Quality certification, and so its very important that we maintain our ISO status.
One of our fundamental quality principles is to strive to improve customer satisfaction by planning for and successfully meeting customer requirements. By maintaining our already very positive customer satisfaction levels we hope to retain more repeat customers, because happy customers
tend to be loyal ones.We send out a formal Customer Satisfaction survey every year, but our account management team stays in regular contact with the people who use our products and they are on hand to support any commercial and technical questions they may have.
Rest assured, if you decide to work with Sarsen Technology we’ll endeavour to make sure it’s a positive experience all round!

ISO 9001 - Exactly What it Says in the Manual...
As part of our commitment to quality and service Sarsen Technology became ISO certified way back in the early ‘00s.
This is an ongoing responsibility that we take very seriously, so much so that we choose to be independently audited twice every year to keep our processes in tip-top shape. And ISO 9001 is more than just a certificate. It is an internationally recognised standard, accepted in over 100 countries, and more importantly by our customers, many of whom wouldn’t work with us if we didn’t have it.
Old school thinking said that ISO 9001 certification was designed for large organisations, but it is also hugely important for SMEs like Sarsen Technology, helping us to develop efficient quality management systems that save time and money, improve efficiency and ultimately improve customer relationships.
Although our Quality Manual is a hefty tome, it allows us to implement ISO 9001 in a straightforward, easily managed way. We are all clear about what we need to do and how; we don't have to spend time 'making things up' or 'finding things out' – it’s all there. You might say we’re like a well-oiled machine!
Our latest audit takes place on Tuesday, and we’re looking forward to being able to support our customers for another year with ISO9001 certified quality and service.
If you have any questions about our quality processes or ISO 9001 please get in touch – info@sarsen.net.

Providing sales, marketing and technical support services for two
USA based manufacturers,
Sarsen Technology was born.
The brain-child of Nigel Norman, Sarsen Technology was established to provide embedded COTS hardware and software to a wide range of customers and market sectors. Since 2000, the team has expanded to include additional salespeople, and a number of new departments including Accounts, Marketing and Administration. The significant growth since 2000 has been achieved by offering customers a complete embedded system solution, providing a local liaison from the initial enquiry right through to after-sales technical support.
As part of our ongoing quest for customer satisfaction we added 3 new manufacturers to the product line in 2013, allowing us to support an even greater range of applications that require anything from digital signal processing, data acquisition and single board computing to high-speed data record, playback and storage solutions. We have chosen the companies we work with based on their commitment to customer service as well as for their market-leading technology.
