Selwyn Henriques and Bill Fox of Tech Source are visiting Sarsen Technology next week. The Tech Source Condor series of embedded products for Mil/Aero applications consists of high performance COTS XMC or VPX form factor graphics and video solutions. The Condor series is based on the AMD Radeon family. Air or rugged conduction cooled variants offer Open GL/3D, H.264, video windowing plus GPGPU capabilities. Linux, Windows and RTOS drivers are supported. As a graphics/imaging specialist, Tech Source can provide customized solutions for especially demanding applications for Avionics, Vetronics, Naval Shipboard, Training/Simulation and related applications.

Freescale P2020 QorIQ 3U VPX-REDI Single Board Computer

Bittware's high performance Altera FPGA solutions for high frequency financial trading are featured in Automated Trader. Four input H.264 compatible video capture XMC card

One of the technologies they will be promoting is the Tech Source Condor VC 100x XMC video capture and compression card. The VC 100x has been designed for use in various applications such as surveillance, image detection, video recording, unmanned vehicles (UAV) and other camera based video recording/analysis applications. The VC100x is an H.264 compatible video capture XMC format card with up to 4 video inputs and typical markets for the Condor VC 100x are military, avionics, industrial and UAVs.

XPedite7470 Sandy Bridge Intel i7 VPX Board


The Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) Intel i7 VPX solutions include the XPedite7470 3U VPX-REDI single board computer based on the Sandy Bridge Intel Core i7 CPC and Cougar Point QM67 chip set. This board is very similar to the XPedite7370 and is similarly priced but obviously provides the power of the Sandy Bridge i7 processor.
