The Dream Marketing Defence & Aerospace Roadshow has come to the end of its second week on the road, and it’s been a pretty good one for the Sarsen team.
QinetiQ, GE Aviation, Cobham Mission Systems and General Dynamics have all played host to the Dream Marketing vehicle, and we’ve come away with some great follow ups to do next week.
Tim, Robbie and Nigel have spent the last 2 weeks discussing the very latest embedded COTS FPGA, PowerPC, ARM, Intel, video processing, high-speed data recording, data acquisition and test technology solutions with visitors to the Roadshow, and are looking forward to sharing even more next week, when they travel to BAE and Airbus, Rolls Royce, L3 Comms, Agusta Westland and Yeovil College.
If you are at any of the sites next week and want to find out more about the Roadshow and how it might be of interest to you please drop me an email – LauraB@sarsen.net and I’ll give you all the inside information….
Have a great weekend!

All Aboard? Next Stop, GE Aviation - Cheltenham!
Today the Dream Marketing Defence & Aerospace Roadshow visits the beautiful English Regency town of Cheltenham.
GE Aviation is situated just north of the town, in Bishops Cleeve, and is a world-leading provider of commercial and military jet engines and components as well as avionics, electric power, and mechanical systems for aircraft, with an extensive global service network to support these products.
With a large number of ‘technology firsts’, including America’s first jet engine, and the first Mach 2 Engine, GE Aviation is a prime location on the Roadshow, giving us the opportunity to showcase brand new technology direct to the Engineering teams making these advances.
Robbie will be on board the vehicle from 9.30 until 2pm, with a large selection of demonstration boards ready to discuss, including FPGA hardware from BittWare, small form factor CPU modules from Dave and rugged COTS SBCs from Extreme Engineering.
If you’d like to visit the Sarsen Team today or at any of the other stops on the Roadshow please give me a call on +44 1672 511166 or email me at laura.jeffs@sarsen.net.

Sarsen Technology Hits the Road
Sarsen Technology is one of twenty companies taking part in the 2013 Dream Marketing Defence & Aerospace Manufacturing Technology Roadshow. The roadshow started Monday at BAE Systems in Barrow, and continues for the next 3 weeks across the UK visiting many of the industry's major design, development and research facilities along the way.
Today is day 3 and our second day at Rolls Royce in Derby. After a busy day yesterday we are hoping to have many more good conversations about our products with the engineers and project managers in Derby.
The show then hits the road again for stays at Selex in Basildon and Safran Power in Pitstone to complete Week 1.

DSEi Review
We had a good week at DSEi last week. We have spoken to lots of new people about our range of embedded hardware, and there's lots of follow up to do when we’re back in the office, with new opportunities and projects to investigate.
The BittWare embedded COTS hardware featuring the Altera Stratix V FPGA was particularly popular, with plenty of visitors checking out the EW Radar Development System demo on the Altera stand.
This is the first time Ecrin Systems has exhibited at DSEi, and the small form factor MIL-STD-810 ‘ONYX’ embedded computer has proved a big hit with lots of new enquiries.
If you missed us last week but are lucky enough to be one of the stops on the roadshow for the next 3 weeks, you still have a chance to meet with the Sarsen Team.
If you want to know more about the Defence and Aerospace Roadshow or would like to follow up from a meeting at DSEi please get in touch on +44 1672 511166, or you can email us – info@sarsen.net

Are you a Successful Person?
This isnt the normal type of blog post we put up, but I thought it was really interesting.
I saw this infographic on LinkedIn today, and it made me think about how I act and how I could improve my own performance. I think I'm definitely more green than yellow, but I do watch TV every day, and I'm not sure if a Filofax counts as a journal....
Its a thought provoking exercise, but it's important to keep improving and challenging yourself.
So I'm doing my bit:
Dear Diary...
